Why is it called Cortez Lip Balm?
Cortez Lip Balm is named in honor of my fiancée, Kathleen Joy Cortez.
After Kathleen survived a ruptured brain aneurysm and spent years fighting through recovery, I wanted to build something that celebrated her strength and honored our journey together. Since she has always loved lip balm, creating this company became a meaningful way to share our story with the world.
